2017 is gone and what a year it was for NEEDS Africa!
As I look back over the last 12 months I am truly amazed and grateful for the many opportunities we had to be able to engage with and help individuals and community groups, to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate and disadvantaged members of their communities.
2017 Accomplishments

Paid school fees for 20 children in Zimbabwe

Sponsored 2 school football tournaments in Zimbabwe

Facilitated and provided leadership training and mentoring sessions to over 100 community and church leaders in Zimbabwe

Provided financial support for medical treatment for 2 church ministers in Zimbabwe

Assisted financially with 2 mission projects in Ghana
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were not able to achieve everything we’d hoped as we were forced to cancel planned trips to Dominica and Nigeria at the last minute. However, we co-hosted a fundraising event at Christian Community Church West London where £900 was raised for Dominica. We collected enough non-perishable food, stationery and other supplies to fill 3 barrels which have since been shipped to the island still reeling from the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
Overall, 2017 has been a successful year for NEEDS Africa and this is in no small part due to your support.
We are able to do what we do because of you and I would like to take this opportunity not just on our behalf, but also on behalf of all the people, young and old, who have benefited from the work that the charity has been able to do and the difference that we have been able to make in their lives for the better.
